Profile making is driven by several data bases (actually mostly EXCEL files (in fact the profiles themselves are EXCEL files)), some of which were built and are maintained by us and others from other SABR members. Some of these files are very large, but they are all contained in this site. Or some of them may be downloaded from YAHOO!
The PROFILE MAP is a listing of all profiles available and under what category(-ies) they may be included.
Team Table is a listing of all teams, their nicknames, classification, years of operation, disposition et al.
BIOProj is a summary of all completed and assigned biographies by the SABR Biography Research Committee.
Auricle Master is a list of all baseball persona with biographical, genealogical, reference, photographs, URL’s and career information.
TIDBITS is a catch-all file of bits and pieces of information we pick up about players from day to day.
UMPIRES is a listing of all Major League Umpires, 1871 to the present with biographical, genealogical, reference, photographs, URL’s and career information.
SABRVets is a file containing data about those connected with baseball who have served in the military or were replacements for those who did.
The Baseball Personage Questionnaire is used to provide us with information or Request a Profile on an individual.
Files created and/or maintained by other SABR members are included in SABR Files.
