About Us

AURICLE Books & Letters has been providing quality information on baseball since our beginnings in 1953. It is our mission to make as much of the information we have accumulated available as an open source as possible. We believe the best way to achieve this goal is to through this web site.

Facts

We were the first to provide computer generated data to the Press (Minneapolis Tribune, 1956).

Until 1985, all of our work was done on supercomputers.  We switched to personal computers at that time.

We rely on the Internet, our library of over 2,000 baseball books and our personal recollections.

We provide what we believe to be a unique service of baseball profiles, an expanded format of what is published every year since 1940 in the Baseball Register by The Sporting News.

Awards

First place, APBA Convention Trivia Contest, 1970.

Numerous personal awards outside of baseball.
